A familiar figure in the Kirkby Lonsdale area has decided to call it a day with the announcement of his retirement after more than 40 years in the legal profession.

Robin Breay, a partner at OSG’s Kirkby Lonsdale office said goodbye to colleagues and friends at the end of March.

Mr Breay, 66, practised with Greenwood Kyle & Co until 1996 when it became part of Oglethorpe, Sturton and Gillibrand, remaining a partner with OSG until his 65th birthday.

With a wealth of experience gained locally over 40 years, Robin is an expert in property and conveyance. He has worked with farming families and has a particular interest in matters affecting elderly clients, estate planning and the administration of estates and inheritance tax planning.

‘‘We would like to take this opportunity to wish Robin a long and happy retirement and everyone at the practice would like to thank him for his hard work over the years,” said Managing Partner David Gillibrand.
