Oglethorpe Sturton & Gillibrand is delighted to extend its warmest congratulations to Charlotte Russell, who completes her two years as a trainee to become a fully qualified solicitor on 1st March 2016.

Kendal born Charlotte is the granddaughter of one of the founders of local property dynasty, Russell Armer. Now that she has qualified, Charlotte plans to focus her legal career on property law.

Says Charlotte: “I’m so excited and happy that all the years of study and working as a trainee have finally come to fruition, and I’ve fulfilled my ambition to become a solicitor. My plan now is to specialise in property law. Since starting my trainee position at Oglethorpe Sturton & Gillibrand, I have been encouraged to network and build relationships with other professionals in the South Lakeland and North Lancashire areas. This is something I plan to do more of in the future.”

Charlotte was educated at Casterton School and studied Law at Lancaster University. She went on to complete her LPC and masters degree at BPP Law School in Manchester. She joined Oglethorpe Sturton & Gillibrand in 2014.

David Gillibrand, Senior Partner at Oglethorpe Sturton & Gillibrand, commented; “We’re very pleased that Charlotte has completed her time as a trainee solicitor and look forward to helping her develop a successful career as a property law specialist.”
