Allan studied at Oxford University and qualified as a solicitor in 1995. Specialising in Commercial Property, Allan particularly enjoys development work and is described as having “superb knowledge in the development land sector” – a glowing testimonial given to Allan for his ranking in the Legal 500.

Allan joined the Oglethorpe Sturton & Gillibrand LLP partnership in June 2019 following more than 20 years at two other local firms including heading up the Commercial Property department.

Allan is a keen runner enjoys training at Lancaster & Morecambe Athletics Club participating in and volunteering at parkrun and enjoys spending time with his family, walking and wildlife watching.
